Jason Sinyard has over 25 years of experience in municipal engineering and administration. He began his career in 1997 with a private consulting firm providing engineering services to both the private and public sectors throughout the province of Newfoundland & Labrador. In 1999, he joined the City of St. John’s where he has held various roles in construction, public works and development and, in 2015, was appointed to the position of Deputy City Manager.
In his current role, Jason is responsible for providing strategic direction and oversight regarding the design and construction of City infrastructure as well as overall land use planning, private development activity and regulatory compliance.
