Oskaras Alšauskas is an Energy Modeller at the International Energy Agency (IEA), an autonomous intergovernmental organisation focused on ensuring energy security for its member states and partners. He works in the IEA’s World Energy Outlook team, where over the past four years his work has focused on energy demand modelling, with a particular emphasis on the transport sector. He is engaged in projections of global demand for oil, biofuels, electric vehicles, batteries and other fuels and technologies. Oskaras previously worked in the buildings energy sector in Lithuania and Sweden, and holds a Master’s degree in International Energy from Institut d’études politiques de Paris.
