Ray is a senior financial services executive with over thirty years’ experience. He has worked in multiple banks including HSBC, Deutsche, Paribas, Nomura and Kleinwort Benson as well as running a consultancy company. He has held a number of roles in different areas of banking including COO, CIO, head of transformation and head of analytics. In his last role at HSBC as the Risk COO and head of analytics he was a member of the Group Risk Management Board and the Group COO Executive Committee. Ray is also a board member at Quantexa a Fintech in the Financial Crime data analytics area. Voted risk manager of the year by Banking Technology magazine, Ray played a key role in being an early adopter of cloud technology and digital transformation.

Ray is happily married with two children and lives in London. He holds a Mathematics and Computer Science degree.
