Fredrik Milani is Head of Digital Strategy at SEB Baltics. In this role, he is responsible for innovating and future-proofing existing banking products for retail and SME segments. Fredrik began his banking career more than 20 years ago in Sweden as a Business Analyst for Handelsbanken Capital Markets. During his stay at Handelsbanken, he was involved with strategy development and implementation for Fixed Income, FX, Equity, and Derivatives trading. He is also an Associate Professor of Information Systems at the Department of Computer Science at the University of Tartu, Estonia. His research concerns business process management and, in particular, developing data-driven discovery of improvement opportunities and redesign. He also teaches courses related to managing digital products, managing business processes, and business analysis. He has authored more than 30 papers and a book titled “Digital Business Analysis”.
