With 13 years of experience in the finance field, Mindaugas brings his expertise in project management from working in one of the biggest Scandinavian banks, together with exceptional team management skills, an innovative approach to product development, and forward-thinking decision-making. Together with SME Finance teams, Mindaugas is determined to empower businesses to grow faster, easier and digital way!

The SME Finance team of 100+ banking and technology professionals from Scandinavian and Baltic banks is led by CEO and Co-founder Mindaugas Mikalajūnas. The founding team was frustrated with the lack of opportunities being afforded by larger banks to the SME sector. SMEs are the backbone of modern economies, accounting for over 70% of GDP in all EU countries. However, they are typically neglected by the traditional banks, who regard their needs as uneconomic to service, and remain under-financed as a result.
