Profile

Yusik Kim is the CEO and founder of Tas Global manufacturing robots for Factory construction, Navies’ MRO (Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul) automation, reactive vessel cleaning, proactive cleaning, onboard proactive and inspection for both Navies and commercial vessels.

He is chief scientist of a Korean government funded biofouling treatment R&D project, coordinating 160 researchers. His contributions to the robotic industry have been recognized with national merit awards from the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy and Ministry of Oceans and Fisheries in the robotic category.

Co-winner of Red-dot Design award Singapore and served as 2022 Chairperson of IMO’s Global Industry Alliance on biosafety.
