Andrew Siemers is a Systems Design Engineer at Thermo Fisher Scientific in St. Louis, Missouri, where he focuses on downstream bioprocessing research and development.

His work primarily centers on monoclonal antibody workstreams, with expertise in resin development and implementation, as well as direct support for the on-site CDMO through improving process development techniques and timelines. In addition, he develops technical materials that strengthen product support and improve the training of field specialists.

Andrew holds a bachelor’s degree in biochemical engineering from Missouri S&T and is currently pursuing a master’s degree in biotechnology at Johns Hopkins University.
