Profile

Dr Andy Racher has over 35 years of experience in mammalian cell bioprocessing, including a long career at Lonza helping develop and commercialise the GS Expression System, particularly the GS-CHO platform that’s used in more than 100 approved biologics. He joined SynGenSys in 2024, and recently became co-CEO. SynGenSys specialises in developing technologies to improve CHO-cell productivity by manipulating transcription of the product and selectable marker genes.
