Benjamin Ko, Ph.D., is Associate Director of Development Operations Drug Substance at Boehringer Ingelheim in Fremont, California. In this role, he is responsible for helping to lead development and tech transfer of biologics production processes, with a focus on downstream operations. He has over 15 years of experience in the biopharmaceutical industry, including early- and late-stage purification development and scale-up, tech transfer and manufacturing support, and viral clearance validation. Prior to joining Boehringer Ingelheim, Benjamin worked at AbbVie Stemcentrx and Genentech. Benjamin holds a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from Stanford University.
