Gavin joined ATUM as Chief Scientific Officer earlier this year. Previously, he held scientific leadership roles at Genentech/Roche, Eli Lilly, Merck, Adimab, and GlycoFi. Gavin earned his Ph.D. in Bioengineering from Dartmouth College in Dr. Tillman Gerngross's lab and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Pretoria.
