Hans J Johansson is General Manager for Sunresin Sweden based in Uppsala, Sweden. He has spent more than 35 years in the Biotech industry. Most of the time in research and development at Pharmacia (now Cytiva), and Purolite (now Ecolab) with a special focus on design and applications of industrial chromatography resins intended for antibody purification and other therapeutic proteins. He frequently publishes in scientific journals and is the holder of more than ten patents around resin design and large-scale protein purification. He is currently leading the research centre in Uppsala, focusing on development and applications of novel, agarose-based, chromatography resins for all types of biomolecule purification.
