Dr Lei Wang

Lei earned his Ph.D. in Chemistry from Clemson University, where his research focused on the development of innovative liquid chromatography resins for biological applications. He brings over six years of industry experience in downstream process development for antibodies and related biologics. His work has spanned the full development lifecycle, from bench-scale studies through pilot-scale operations and manufacturing support, as well as the development of innovative technologies such as mechanistic modeling and high-throughput screening tools. Prior to joining Gilead, Lei worked at AbbVie. Most recently, he has been leading the process development group within the early-stage biologics department at Gilead.
