Madhuresh Sumit is an Associate Director at Sanofi, leading CMC development efforts within the Cell Culture Process Development group of GMU. With over a decade of experience in biologics and gene therapy, Madhuresh brings expertise in upstream process development, primarily focusing on systems biology, media development, and the integration of computational and data driven modeling into CMC strategies. Madhuresh’s recent work focuses on improving AAV process through rational media design along with systems and data-driven approach to gain mechanistic understanding of PCL biology towards AAV production. Madhuresh is also actively involved in several cross-functional collaborations focusing on enhancing AAV product quality.
