Skai is a downstream process development professional at Takeda, specializing in development, optimization, and scale-up of purification processes for biologics. Skai partners cross-functionally with upstream, analytical, and internal and external manufacturing partners to deliver robust downstream operations, and he has served to make significant contributions as SME for Tecan related knowledge and evaluation of the PAT systems. Skai earned his bachelor's and master's degrees from University of Massachusetts, Amherst with technical interests spanning chromatography and filtration process development and automated high-throughput technology.
