William Stanney is a Senior Scientist in the Cell Line Development group at AbbVie in Worcester, MA, where he has worked since 2019. Dr. Stanney is an experienced molecular biologist with expertise in genetic characterization of cell lines, vector design, and other molecular biology applications in cell line development. His recent work focuses on contributing to the advancement of innovative cell line development strategies for complex biopharmaceutical molecules and supporting the molecular biology needs for both preclinical and late-stage programs. He earned his Ph.D. from UMass Chan Medical School in 2019.
