I am a Scientist II in the Alexion, AstraZeneca Rare Disease Unit in New Haven, Connecticut, specializing in upstream process development for fusion proteins, monoclonal antibodies (mAbs), and bispecifics. I hold a PhD in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology and an MBBS, and have authored or co-authored more than 50 peer-reviewed publications. Since joining Alexion, I have led efforts to build and advance upstream next-generation manufacturing capabilities, including process intensification and high-throughput perfusion screening. My work focuses on upstream next-generation manufacturing using tangential flow filtration (TFF), biologics manufacturing, technology transfer, and process optimization.
