Yi Li is a Principal AI Engineer in AbbVie's Operations Transformation organization, working on enterprise AI strategy and delivery across biopharma manufacturing, tech transfer, supply chain, quality, and labs.
Before joining AbbVie in 2026, Yi spent five years at Amgen, most recently as Principal Scientist, working on process digitalization, hybrid modeling, and AI agent workflows for biologics development.
Yi is named on five patents and holds a Ph.D. in Chemical & Biomolecular Engineering from Johns Hopkins, an M.S. in Computer Science from Georgia Tech, and a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from the University of Washington.
