Professional experience: Researcher with 10+ yeas of experience in horticulture, viticulture, and physiological ecology in top-research institutions including the University of California, Davis, the University of Chile, and the University of Concepción. Experienced professional in the area of research-extension linkages to improve technical skills of small and medium-scale farmers.
My research goals are focused on:
1) Developing new approaches to manage irrigation in grapevines and fruit crops in a wide range of climate and soil conditions.
2) Improving cultural practices that respond to grape grower needs.
3) Transferring technical skills of irrigation management to small and medium-scale growers.
