Jefferson Rangel da Silva is a scientist at Yara International, specializing in biostimulant product development for seed and fertilizer coatings. He holds a B.Sc. in Agricultural Engineering, an M.Sc., and a Ph.D. in Plant Production with a focus on Plant Physiology, along with postdoctoral experience in Plant Physiology and Plant Nutrition. His scientific journey includes international research experiences across North America, Latin America, and Europe, enriching his expertise in plant-environment interactions and physiological responses to biostimulant applications.

With over a decade of experience in both academic and industrial settings, Jefferson has led research and product development initiatives across a wide range of crops, including broadacres, vegetables, and perennials. He is proficient in key physiological tools such as gas exchange measurements, chlorophyll fluorescence, and water relations analysis. Jefferson is passionate about translating scientific insights into practical solutions that enhance crop performance and sustainability, contributing directly to the advancement of innovative agricultural technologies.
