APC Agro

Profile

APC Agro is the agricultural division of APC, a global company specialized in the development of functional ingredients derived from animal blood for animal nutrition. Within its agro line, APC applies a patented enzymatic hydrolysis process to fractionate blood proteins and develop high-performance biostimulants rich in L-amino acids, short-chain peptides, and heme iron—key components that are rapidly assimilated by plants, delivering fast and visible improvements in crop performance.

The Pepton product range—including Pepton 85/16, Pepton Plus, and Pepton Origin—offers fully water-soluble biostimulants suitable for both conventional and organic farming. All products are certified for use in organic agriculture by CAAE in compliance with EU Regulation 2018/848 and NOP standards.

Pepton supports root development, enhances nutrient use efficiency (NUE), improves flowering and fruit setting, and helps plants recover after stress conditions. Its organic matrix also promotes microbial activity and contributes to better soil structure.

Field trials and independent research conducted in collaboration with public research institutions such as IRTA and CSIC have confirmed Pepton’s ability to improve yield, fruit quality, and overall crop performance.

APC Agro has also recently been awarded a grant under Spain’s PERTE programme (Strategic Project for Economic Recovery and Transformation), supporting innovation in sustainable and circular bioeconomy initiatives.

APC Agro provides science-backed, sustainable tools to improve plant health and agricultural resilience.
