Atsushi Inoue, Ph.D., is a biotechnology lead at Astellas Pharma with over 14 years of hands-on experience in bioprocess development. His expertise spans cell line development and upstream process development for biologics, as well as culture process development for cell therapy products derived from pluripotent stem cells.

Throughout his career, Atsushi has been deeply involved in advancing innovative manufacturing technologies. Most recently, he has been focused on building next-generation platforms that integrate automation systems and AI-driven process optimization to accelerate and enhance bioprocess development.
