Kazuhiro Takizawa is an R&D Team Leader at JNC Corporation, where he leads the development of advanced cellulose-based chromatography media for downstream purification of biopharmaceuticals. His work covers improving base resins and optimizing ligand immobilization and purification conditions to achieve higher separation performance, productivity, and robustness. He has extensive experience in purification process development for a broad range of modalities, including therapeutic antibodies, virus-like particles, gene therapy vectors, and mRNA. He received his Ph.D. in Chemistry and Materials Science from Tokyo Institute of Technology.
