As Vice President, Healthcare group of the Singapore Economic Development Board (EDB), Pengfei oversees the investment promotion and industry development efforts to position Singapore as a leading biopharmaceutical hub. Concurrently, he holds the position of Vice President, Head of Region, South Asia, Middle East and Africa, overseeing EDB’s efforts within the South Asia, Middle East and Africa region. Prior to this, Pengfei held various roles within EDB, including a stint in São Paulo, Brazil as EDB’s Regional Director for Latin America, leading and managing EDB’s operations within South America. Pengfei holds a Masters of Business Administration (Sloan Fellows Program) from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), as well as a Bachelors of Engineering from the National University of Singapore (NUS).
