Arianna Minzoni is a Ph.D. candidate in Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering at North Carolina State University, advised by Professor Stefano Menegatti and a member of NC-VVIRAL. She holds an M.Sc. in Molecular and Industrial Biotechnology from the University of Bologna. Her research focuses on gene therapy manufacturing, with particular emphasis on downstream bioprocessing and purification strategies. Her work includes process optimization for viral vector production, enrichment techniques for AAV full capsid isolation, and establishing correlations between biophysical characterization and biological activity profiles of viral vectors. Combining technical expertise with business acumen through concurrent MBA coursework, she aims to translate innovative bioprocess solutions into scalable, commercially impactful therapies.
