Profile

Carlos is Associate Director, Cell Therapy Process Development at Johnson & Johnson, focusing on autologous cell therapies, with over 7 years of hands-on experience in the field. He earned a Ph.D. in Immunology from the University of Washington and completed a postdoctoral fellowship at Amgen, where he advanced cancer immunotherapies. His career subsequently broadened to autologous and allogeneic cell therapies at Amgen and Poseida Therapeutics before transitioning to his current role at J&J, where he has been for the last 4 years.
