I am currently an Associate Director in the Purification Process Sciences department at AstraZeneca. My career started at MedImmune in 2000 and I have been with AstraZeneca since they acquired MedImmune in 2007. Recently, I have been focused on the process development and implementation strategy of continuous downstream processes, both from perfusion and intensified fed-batch bioreactors. I earned a B.S.E in Chemical Engineering from the University of Michigan and a M.S. in Biotechnology from Johns Hopkins University.
