Lateefat Kayejaye, Ph.D.
Graduate Research Assistant at Stevens Institute of Technology
Speaker

Profile

Lateefat Kalejaye is a fourth-year Ph.D. candidate in Chemical Engineering at Stevens Institute of Technology, advised by Professor Pin-Kuang Lai. Her research focuses on developing computational approaches for early-stage antibody developability assessment to accelerate therapeutic development. She led the development of DeepSP, a deep learning surrogate model that bypasses computationally expensive molecular dynamics simulations to obtain mAb spatial features, and DeepViscosity, an ensemble deep learning model developed in collaboration with AstraZeneca to screen high-concentration mAb viscosity in early-stage development. She is currently developing a high-throughput SAXS protocol in collaboration with Brookhaven National Laboratory and AstraZeneca to characterize high-concentration mAb solution behavior with minimal sample requirements.
