Dr Philip Probert is Director of the Biologics and RNA Centre of Excellence at CPI, where he leads a team of scientists and engineers advancing next-generation bioprocessing across biologics and mRNA. With more than 15 years’ experience spanning academia, industry, and innovation, he is recognised for bridging scientific excellence with strategic delivery.
Philip has played a central role in expanding CPI’s capabilities into RNA–LNP manufacturing, strengthening biologics process development, and creating high-performing teams that accelerate innovation from concept to GMP. His work spans recombinant proteins, monoclonal antibodies, viral vectors, plasmid DNA, and mRNA — all with a focus on sustainable, scalable, and impactful manufacturing solutions.
Passionate about enabling collaboration across industry, academia, and government, Philip speaks widely on topics including process intensification, RNA manufacturing, and sustainable bioprocessing — championing a vision where technology and talent come together to deliver the therapies of tomorrow.
