Ricardo is a Scientist in the Process Analytical Technology (PAT) group embedded in the Global CMC Development organization at Sanofi. His current research focus is on the development and deployment of analytical tools and process data analytics for monitoring, control, and supervision in bioprocessing. Prior joining Sanofi, he was part of the Bioprocess Integrated Systems R&D group at Merck KGaA, with a focus on development of continuous bioprocessing platforms. Ricardo received his doctoral training in Biochemical Engineering at University College London and the University of Cambridge and business and management training at Stanford Graduate School of Business and London Business School.
