Dr. Shu Wang is a Principal Investigator at Incyte with over 20 years of experience in cell culture and a decade in biopharmaceutical development. He earned his Ph.D. in Genetics and completed postdoctoral training in academic laboratories. Since transitioning to industry, Dr. Wang has specialized in cell line development, managing the entire workflow from transfection to working cell bank (WCB) release. He has contributed to multiple IND and IMPD submissions for therapeutic antibodies, several of which have progressed to clinical trials. His current research focuses on optimizing cell line development processes and utilizing Beacon on-chip binding assays to improve bispecific antibody production—reducing cell line development timeline and enhancing product quality.
