Profile

Dr. Yuansheng Yang, Ph.D., earned his doctorate from Vanderbilt University in 2005. Presently, he serves as a Senior Principal Scientist, leading the Cell Line Development group at the Bioprocessing Technology Institute (BTI) within the Agency for Science, Technology and Research (A*STAR) in Singapore. With over 20 years of expertise in antibody engineering and production, Dr. Yang has spearheaded the successful development of several platform technologies aimed at expediting cell line and antibody development processes. Dr. Yang has authored 73 peer-reviewed papers and holds 10 patents. His innovative cell line development and antibody screening platforms have been licensed to many companies, and his CHO cell line development platform has facilitated the advancement of 5 antibody drugs to clinical trials through its high productivity and speed.
