Darryl Schmidt is the Vice-President of National Leasing for The Cadillac Fairview Corporation based out of their Calgary regional office. A thirty-six-year veteran of retail leasing and development, Mr. Schmidt held positions at Melton Real Estate, First City Shopping Centre Group and Triple Five Group prior to joining Cadillac Fairview. He currently leads the team that is responsible for all the retail leasing efforts in Cadillac Fairview’s Western Canadian properties. With a portfolio valued at over $30 billion Cadillac Fairview owns and manages nearly 36 million square feet of high-quality retail and office space. Darryl holds a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Alberta and has a Certified Retail Property Executive designation from the International Council of Shopping Centres, he also maintains real estate licenses in both Alberta and British Columbia.
