Richard Morden is the Senior Vice President, Commercial, Western Canada ofQuadReal Property Group based out of the Calgary office. Richard joined QuadReal inFebruary 2017 and now has 38 years of commercial real estate experience spanningToronto, Vancouver, and for the last 22 years, Calgary. Since 2019, Richard’s focus hasbeen leading the Western Canada office investment team which involves 11.2 millionsquare feet of prime office space in Edmonton, Calgary and Vancouver as well as thecompany’s Lower Mainland industrial portfolio. Through his career, Richard has hadtransactional experience including acquisitions, dispositions, development and financingof commercial real estate totalling over $3.0 billion in value.

Richard previously worked with Bentall Kennedy and Beutel Goodman Real EstateGroup, where he held positions focusing on investment and portfolio management.Richard holds a B.A. in Urban Geography from UBC, an MBA from The Richard IveySchool of Business, Western University and has completed the Business LeadershipProgram at Queen’s University.

Richard is the past Chair of BOMA Calgary, a member of the Government AffairsCommittee of NAIOP Calgary as well as a past member of the Board of Directors ofNAIOP Calgary and a current member of Calgary Economic Development’s Real EstateSector Advisory Committee. These industry positions provide Richard with theopportunity to contribute to policy that directly supports the interests of those living andworking within the QuadReal portfolio, as well as communities as a whole.
