Jeffrey has 14 years of experience working in the insurance industry and as a risk consultant.Prior to founding Cavell, Jeff was most recently a Managing Director at a global Insurance firm.He is based in Toronto. Jeffrey has extensive experience working with owners, investors anddevelopers of real-assets, leading teams focused on providing support and service, advice andconsulting to Real Estate & Hospitality, Renewable Power, Infrastructure, and Private Equitybusinesses.

In his past, Jeffrey has acted directly on behalf of institutional pension capital, asset managers,and public companies investing in and developing real assets in Canada, and around the globe.Jeffrey has acted on billions of dollars of assets insured, where majority is placed within theproperty damage and business interruption insurance marketplace. By nature of his work, Jeffalso has extensive experience providing consulting in connection with due diligence for mergers& acquisitions and project finance.

He is well versed in transactions including providing“representations and warranties” insurance, where he has conducted this on a multinationalbasis.Jeff has been instrumental in delivering alternative risk transfer solutions to the Canadianmarketplace, including parametric policies for natural catastrophe, and unique weather related‘hedges’ delivered in the form of insurance. He maintains very strong relationships in the Lloydsof London and Bermuda Reinsurance marketplaces.
