Junichi Murahashi is a seasoned asset manager with over 16 years of experience managing multi-residential assets in Canada and Japan. Junichi started his real estate career as an equity research analyst at UBS Investment Bank in Tokyo covering Japanese REITs. During his tenure at UBS, the team was ranked No.1 in the Japanese real estate sector by Institutional Investor Magazine for 3 consecutive years. After immigrating to Canada in 2011, he specialized in managing multi-residential assets and played a key role in introducing revenue management software to the Canadian market at GWL Realty Advisors and QuadReal partnering with the US based PropTech firm Realpage. He currently leads formulating various portfolio and asset strategies that will not only enhance returns but also support QuadReal’s service and operations excellence for residents. He provides strategic guidance on some of the key initiatives from the asset management perspective, including repositioning strategies, fuel switch, EV chargers, utility submetering, and leak detection system.
