Maria Beirnes is a Director, Asset Management and Regional Lead for Western Canada at Fiera Real Estate. Maria is responsible for overseeing the strategic direction and value add creation of over 3 million square feet of real estate in Fiera’s open ended funds and segregated funds. Maria has extensive experience in asset management, valuation, leasing, investing, as well as fund reporting and investor relations. Prior to joining Fiera Real Estate, she worked at Fengate Asset Management as an asset manager and as a financial reporting and compliance manager. She was responsible for overseeing $1.3B in office, commercial and residential properties as well as properties under development in Canada. Subsequently, Maria worked in the private company services audit group at Collins Barrow LLP. She holds a bachelor's degree in accounting from Brock University and is a member of the Chartered Professional Accountants of Ontario.
