Wendy Nelson Ph.D. — CEO

I’ll leverage my experience and passion of running my own Boston Biotech Forum to help move this company forward with heightened engagement and worthwhile discussion.”

Nelson joined the company in October 2018 as CEO. In her role, Nelson is re-energizing the business by leading the execution of several substantial developments. She has over 20 years of operational, business development, and R&D experience within the biotech and biopharma fields. Nelson is also President & Founder of the Boston Biotech Forum dinner event series. She has significantly contributed to the life sciences community by building that series into one of the most successful networking events in Boston biotech. Nelson received her Sc.B. and M.S. in Engineering and her Ph.D. in Medical Sciences from Brown University.

Robert Buderi — Chairman

Buderi has served in this role since May 2018. He advises on overall strategy and helps pinpoint important issues affecting businesses in biotech and biopharma. As the Founder & Editor-in-Chief of Xconomy and past Editor of MIT’s Technology Review, Buderi has decades of experience in the field. Buderi is also a published author and was a regular guest of CNBC’s Strategy Session. He’s spoken about innovation to many organizations, including the Business Council, Amazon, eBay, Google, IBM, and Microsoft. Buderi received his A.B. in Psychology, Physical Education at University of California, Davis and his M.A. in Journalism at University of Arizona.
