Closing Night Celebration
LA Through The Lens
Thursday, March 5, 2026
7:30pm - 10:30pm
Event Details
When night falls on the Natural History Museum, its daylight identity fades. What emerges is something altogether different—a Los Angeles that exists in shadow and celluloid, whispered on film sets and immortalized in frames that refuse to be forgotten.
This is not merely a party. It is an exploration of the city's cinematic soul, where shadows and stories intertwine.
Welcome
Cross the threshold into a space suspended between museum and mirage. The air pulses with echoes of forgotten takes. Light flickers against marble and bone. Something ahead beckons you deeper into the reel.
Hollywood Legacy
Your first cocktail tastes like revelation.
Surrounded by artifacts of Hollywood's golden age, you stand within the machinery of illusion—the tricks and sleights of hand that conjured a kingdom of dreams. The celebration swells around you, but the stories embedded in these walls speak in quieter registers, resonating beneath the surface, beneath the skin.
Red Rabbit
The African Mammal Hall surrenders to transformation, becoming an opulent underworld drenched in noir.
This space channels the dangerous beauty of Chinatown, the aching longing of In the Mood for Love, the brittle glamour of Sunset Boulevard, and the sharp-edged surrealism of Sin City. Scent-laden cocktails and decadent small plates blur the boundaries of sense. Here, intrigue becomes intoxicating.
Twist House
In the North American Mammal Hall, perfection conceals its own darkness.
A gleaming 1960s paradise—palm trees, saturated color, relentless optimism—masks something unsettling beneath its polished surface. Drawing inspiration from Mad Men, Don't Worry Darling, and Palm Royale, this oasis smiles sweetly while harboring its secrets. The menu seduces with lush offerings, each bite perfectly crafted, almost too perfect to trust.
Dance Floor Dreams
The soundtrack turns feral as iconic films bleed into the night—Pulp Fiction, Less Than Zero, Valley Girl, Once Upon a Time in Hollywood, The Big Lebowski.
Under the ancient, impassive gaze of the T-Rex and Triceratops, the dance floor erupts into a fever dream. Beats throb. Light slices through darkness. Past and present collide in a haze of California cool and cinematic chaos.
Step into the reel and become part of the story—an unforgettable night awaits.
