Bob Castellucci has enjoyed an illustrious 40+ year career in the pharmaceutical/biotech industry. Bob has a track record of executive leadership success at top performing companies including Merck, Watson Laboratories, DuPont Merck, and Vertex Pharmaceuticals. Known as a skilled technical expert in Regulatory Compliance and Quality Assurance (QA) Management, his leadership resulted in consistent drug product quality and patient safety. He has led numerous organizational change initiatives ranging from quality improvement to significant regulatory compliance remediation. Bob has built high performing Quality organizations based on an innate skill for creating and developing teams that are built to deliver the strategic and operational goals of the company.

At the root of his successes has been an unwavering belief in the empowerment of people. Believing that people want to do their best, Bob has been committed to be a leader that equips people with the necessary skills and creates a supportive environment. By establishing clear, meaningful expectations, supporting effective training and development, and being a role model for servant leadership, Bob has developed exemplary QA professionals that are making a positive impact across the industry.

At Vertex, Bob’s Quality team collaborated with Northeastern University to develop a QA Professional Role/Skills Profile map and target experiential learning experiences, including co-ops and internships, in an innovative approach to developing “work-ready” QA talent. He has redirected his experience and creative energy by founding Partnership to Prosperity in 2019. Shining a bright light on the inter-relationship between work ready skills, economic growth and social justice, Partnership To Prosperity brings employers, educators and learners together in an eco-system of learning. The result is the ultimate win-win where talent starved employers, and highly qualified job candidates meet!

Bob holds B.S and M.S degrees in Biology from Villanova University. He is a member of the American Society for Quality (ASQ) and the National Association of Colleges and Employers (NACE).
