Sr. Process Development Scientist – Upstream at Spark Therapeutics

Huize is an accomplished technical lead with extensive industrial experience in Upstream Process Development for viral vector manufacturing including Lenti, AAV, Adv, HSV. Currently, she is a Senior Scientist at Spark Therapeutics, where she leads the development of suspension scale-up manufacturing platform, supporting AAV process development, process characterization, internal and external technical transfer, and regulatory filings. Before Spark, Huize worked at WuXi Advanced Therapies, leading multiple Gene Therapy projects and Adherent 2.0 platform development. She earned her M.S. in Biomedical Engineering from Columbia University, focusing on biomaterial self-assembly and nanoparticle formulation of gene/protein delivery for immunotherapeutic development.
