Profile

Logan Nichols (she/her) has six years of experience developing purification unit operations for recombinant adeno-associated virus (rAAV) gene therapies. She joined Ultragenyx in 2018 and is currently a Senior Research Associate II within the Downstream Process Development group. She specializes in developing efficient and scalable filtration and chromatography processes and has supported process characterization, viral clearance, and tech transfer activities across multiple indications and rAAV serotypes. In addition, she has developed and implemented a high-throughput purification workflow by utilizing automated liquid-handling.
