Dr. Stewart McNaull is the Chief Business Officer for Wheeler Bio, an accessible and agile clinical contract development and manufacturing organization (CDMO), where he leads the commercialization of Wheeler’s proven tech platform – Portable CMC® – to rapidly advance biologics programs from discovery to clinical leads. Prior to joining Wheeler in June of 2023, Dr. McNaull served as Business Unit Head, Biologics and Vaccines at Resilience, where he had global responsibility for sales and marketing strategy, network S&OP, franchise P/L responsibility for seven sites, and co-sponsorship of technology roadmap design and execution. Previously, he led the commercial teams at KBI Biopharma where he grew a significant clinical client base and enabled a commercial facility build for a large pharma customer. He has a track record of designing sales and marketing strategies to deliver speed-to-clinic solutions to the market multiple times. As a chemical engineer by training, Dr. McNaull held several technical roles, providing an insightful link between technical and business solutions for clients. At Bayer, he was responsible for new technology innovations and driving those technologies to the manufacturing floor. At Fujifilm, he championed the implementation of single-use technologies, completing the first single-use manufacturing batch within the Merck network and executing process design for four CGMP facility expansions. Dr. McNaull earned a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from North Carolina State University and a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology.
