Tushar currently holds the position of Director, Analytical CMC Strategy at Vertex where he leads areas such as comparability, specifications, and analytical strategy for late-stage and commercial cell and gene therapy programs. He has previously held roles in various CMC functions for pre-clinical through commercialization for several modalities, including large molecules, lentiviral vectors (LVV), adeno-associated virus (AAV2), and genome editing. Tushar holds a PhD and MS in Chemical Engineering from Columbia University and a BS in Chemical Engineering from Northeastern University.
