Chemically defined scaffold (CDS) can be used for the serum-free culture of pluripotent stem cells (iPSCs, ESCs, MSCs and so on). It is a synthetic polymer that can be stored at room temperature, pre-coated on a variety of surfaces and can be adapted to automated culture equipment. It can establish a safe and stable cell culture process and can lead to reduction in total cell culture cost.
