Rescuing Leftover Cuisine (RLC) redistributes excess food to feed people experiencing food insecurity. Why We Exist Diverting just 15% of all current food waste, would reduce the number of food insecure Americans by 50%. We will be working with volunteers from RLC every day during the event to make sure any food remaining from the day can be brought to local nonprofits providing meals to the food insecure.
