Dr. Kuldeep Neote is the incoming CEO of Diadem Biotherapeutics. He is also an Entrepreneur-In-Residence (EIR) at McGill University focused on the D2R program. He has held EIR positions at the NIH, UHN Commercialization and OICR/FACIT where he was focused on developing commercialization strategies to translate discoveries and creating Biotech spinouts. With an extensive background in implementing cutting edge scientific discoveries into practical drug discovery programs, he also consults for the life sciences healthcare companies. Previously, he was Vice President, External Innovation at Eli Lilly responsible for Lilly’s New Venture initiative where he focused on novel therapeutic licensing opportunities and enabled Lilly’s acquisition of Prevail Therapeutics. From 2013-2018, he was Senior Director, New Ventures at J&J Innovation and responsible for creating New Venture opportunities. He established several collaborations including two opportunities in Canada and served as the interim Head of JLABS@Canada. Prior to these leadership roles, he was in the Global External R&D group at Eli Lilly responsible for Oncology R&D and in-licensing opportunities. He started his pharmaceutical career at Pfizer and lead drug discovery programs focused on autoimmune and inflammatory diseases resulting in several clinical development programs. One program led to the approval of the anti-HIV drug, Maraviroc (Selzentry).
