Dr. Lorenz Knackstedt is co-founder and Chief Technology Officer of NeutroGen Therapeutics in Berlin. He leads the development of CryoEndure, an allogeneic neutrophil therapy designed to provide functional immune cells and immunological protection to patients with critical neutropenia. His work focuses on translating cell biology into robust, scalable manufacturing processes, from CD34+ progenitor expansion and neutrophil differentiation through cryopreservation and characterization. Before founding NeutroGen, Lorenz served as Scientific Lead at T-knife Therapeutics, advancing cell therapy programs in the TCR-T field. He earned his PhD in immunology at the Max Planck Institute for Infection Biology in Berlin.
