Madhusudhan Reddy Bobbili is a senior scientist (University assistant) at the institute of Molecular Biotechnology (IMBT) at the BOKU university, Vienna, Austria. In 2019, he received his PhD degree in “Biomolecular Technology of Proteins” (BioToP) PhD program at BOKU focusing on the development of novel tools to study extracellular vesicles in aging and disease, under supervision of Professor Johannes Grillari. After that he started working as a post-doctoral researcher at Ludwig Boltzmann Institute for Traumatology, Vienna, Austria and since March 2023 as a Universitätsassistent (Assistant professor) at BOKU University. His research focus on the bioengineering of extracellular vesicles for targeted drug delivery, alongside process optimization and development of scalable downstream processing strategies to improve immunological safety for therapeutic applications of extracellular vesicles. His expertise includes cell line engineering, extracellular vesicle bioprocess and analytics.
