Sima Hirani, PhD, is a Field Scientist for Cell and Gene Therapy at Catalent Pharma Solutions, supporting technical and scientific initiatives across Europe and the UK. Sima provides subject matter expertise in technology transfer, scale-up, and training for cell and gene therapy workflows, contributing to projects from R&D through to commercial manufacturing. Prior to Catalent, she delivered technical and commercial due diligence for major pharmaceutical companies at a leading consultancy, and managed clinical applications at Miltenyi Biotec. She has also held scientific roles at several biotechnology companies, advancing T cell engineered products for oncology and autoimmune diseases. Sima holds a doctorate from University College London, and completed postdoctoral training at the NIH, USA.
