Simone Zanetti, PhD, is an Analytical and QC leader with extensive experience in gene therapy and biopharmaceutical development within global GxP environments. He currently serves as Global Head of QC Analytical Technologies, Gene Therapy at, where he supports analytical strategy, lifecycle management, and commercial readiness activities for gene therapy programs. In his role, he is supporting global regulatory submissions, comparability assessments, and analytical inspection readiness. His expertise includes advanced bioassays, analytical troubleshooting, technology transfer, and governance of external laboratories and CDMO partners across Europe and the United States. He holds a PhD in Biology from the University of Fribourg, Switzerland, and is passionate about building compliant, science-driven analytical approaches that support innovation in advanced therapies.
